Read the monitoring dashboard
Interpret performance and disconnect trends with context from player load and recent changes.
txAdmin's Dashboard combines server status, resource/process information, thread-performance charts and recent player-drop categories. Unlike this documentation site, the panel gets runtime data from your authenticated FXServer management instance.
Server status first
Check whether FXServer is online, its uptime and the approximate player count. Compare performance under similar player loads; idle and busy periods are not directly comparable.
Thread performance
A timing spike indicates a period worth investigating, not automatically a specific bad resource. Record the timestamp, compare resource deployments, then use the game server's profiling tools for deeper evidence.
Player drops
The dashboard's Player Drop card summarizes categorized reasons over the last six hours in the pinned upstream version. Player Drops provides longer timeline and drilldown views. Do not label every disconnect a server crash.
Incident checklist
| Evidence | What to record |
|---|---|
| Time | Exact timestamp and timezone |
| Load | Concurrent players during the problem |
| Version | FXServer artifact and txAdmin version |
| Recent change | Resource update, recipe, config or host change |
| Logs | First relevant error and surrounding lines |
| Recovery | Test result under comparable conditions |
