Manage FXServer resources
Inspect, start, stop and restart resources safely through txAdmin.
The txAdmin Resources page lets authorized admins view and control FXServer resources. The upstream interface supports name filtering, hiding or showing default resources and refreshing the list.
Choose the appropriate action
| Action | When to use it |
|---|---|
| Start | A resource is present but stopped and its prerequisites are ready |
| Stop | Controlled maintenance of a specific feature |
| Restart | A reload is required and the resource's effects are understood |
| Refresh | The resource listing needs updating after file changes |
Your txAdmin admin account needs the relevant permission, such as commands.resources. A successful manual start does not guarantee that the resource will start after reboot.
Safe operating sequence
- Confirm the exact resource name and its current status.
- Read its dependencies and any framework startup requirements.
- Review the
ensureorder in CFG Editor. - Back up configuration and plan for affected players before a stop or restart.
- Perform one action, watch Live Console and test affected features.
If you're looking for ready-made FiveM scripts to add, install them in a resource folder, add an ensure line to server.cfg and follow the same sequence before enabling them on a live server.
If a resource fails
Not found: check the directory name and refresh the resource listing. Failed to start: read the first error, dependency and required export. Works only until reboot: review server.cfg. Database errors: verify framework connectivity rather than changing txAdmin settings at random.
